Vienna International School is an international School located in the 22nd district of Vienna, Austria. The school was originally built for children of UN employees and diplomats – because the UN located one of its offices in Vienna. Today, around 50% of the ~1400 students are children of UN employees.
Vienna International School (VIS) became the first eco school in Austria and is committed to creating awareness of the need for a sustainable environment.
